Qigong: Qigong (pronounced Chee-gung) is meditation with movement. Rhythmic movements are gentle and can be performed standing or seated making it adaptable for all ages and fitness levels. Breathing is an important element in Qigong; long, soft, deep breathing reduces stress. Qigong is a peaceful approach to increasing energy (chi, also known as life force) while improving balance and flexibility. This ancient healing practice began in China and has been practiced over 4,000 years.
